Where to buy the best hosting for your Wordpress website

DIY Website Tips, Wordpress

Searching for hosting for your Wordpress.org website can be an overwhelming task.

So today I wanted to give you some tips and advice on where to buy the best hosting for your Wordpress website.

What’s the big deal with web hosting?

Well, specific hosts can provide better service, performance, security and support for your WordPress site, all of which are of course, incredibly beneficial for your website visitor.

Popular website hosting options

One of the most popular options for Wordpress hosting is Siteground*, and it’s one that I personally think is one of the best out there.

What I love about Siteground is how easy and simple it is to set up, perfect for those of you that aren’t as comfortable with tech. Getting WordPress up and running with the built-in installer takes just a few clicks. And to be honest, there really isn’t anything more to say here. The installation process really was seamless, quick, and straightforward!

During the setup process, you are given the option to choose your server location as well. There are five data centers available in the USA, Asia and Europe, which is something that only Siteground has at present. They also offer incredible 24/7 support and help.

I would absolutely recommend Siteground – one of the most popular hosting sites for a reason! If you do end up choosing Siteground, I recommend using either their GrowBig or GoGeek plan because both of those come from Ultrafast PHP – PHP makes a huge difference on website performance and security.

Managed WordPress website hosting options

If you’re looking for a more premium hosting and support, you can look into options such as WP Engine and Flywheel. Usually when you sign up to options such as these, they are managed packages, meaning that these sites handle all of the administration and technical aspects of the hosting. Due to the amount of work these packages involve, they often end up being the more expensive options, but are definitely worth it if you’re looking for a more hands-off approach.

Or if you’re reading “premium” and thinking you want to skimp on the costs for your hosting… don’t!

Cheap website hosting

Lost cost hosting sites such as GoDaddy and Bluehost are cheap for a reason! And often, the cheaper prices are only valid for the first year, meaning that any renewal fees are far and away more expensive than other options. Additionally, GoDaddy sites can have a whole host of performance and security issues. Not what you want from a hosting provider!

I hope this post has helped you to make some decisions. Check out more of my recommendations of resources and tools for your business.
